As always I'm so grateful you want to keep a pulse on where I’m at and what I have to say? *cue the happy tears*
In all seriousness, I’m grateful you’re here on this crazy wild ride with me and I’m so excited to have a medium to share all the ups and downs, tips and tricks, sad times, good times, successes and failures.
My lash career hasn't been all roses and happy times, there have been some really hard times! Periods of negative self talk, not believing in myself and so on. But my biggest mistake in my lash career this far was...
Caring too much about what my peers think
Now I'm by no means saying the opinion of my peers (other lash artists) doesn't matter because it does greatly. However in the past the fear of others not liking my work stopped me from doing so many things. I wouldn't ask for help in the lash forums, I was so critical of every lash photo for Instagram. Sometimes I didn't even want to share my true opinion on a subject. Now I realize this was all so SILLY, but it really held me back in my early days.
I'm here to tell you if you're also feeling this way snap out of it. As professionals we are here for our clients...they are our target market. If they are loving our content that's the most important.
So upload that lash picture without fear
